Term 2 Reflection

My Term 2, 2020 Reflection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is doing Number of the day because I liked pushing myself and trying to learn new things.

Something that has challenged me this term has been doing studyladder because I had to finish the rest of my must do’s before I jump on studyladder.

The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was making the tennis tower because I could talk to my mates about what our plan is.

The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was dancing with Mrs Fraser because one, dancing is my favourite hobby and two is learning something new.

An aim I have for my learning is trying not to talk to my friends too much. Term 2 was a little bit fast because of lockdown.

Matariki Jigsaw 2.0

For our jigsaw 2.0, we have had new pieces this week. We had some like, our family tree, what they ate, what you wish for, and a karakia. The hardest thing for my first one was colouring them in purple, brighter purple, green and red. The easiest thing was doing what your wish would be, my wish is to be in the military and for a two ps4. My favourite puzzle is the wish one.

Paper plane making

Today our challenge was to design an accurate paper plane. We were given a draft piece of paper to trial and a good piece to use once we had tested the accuracy of it.

Before we started I thought this challenge was going to be really easy

I decided to use the design because it was the only hope I had of getting a score

The hardest part was trying to make a plane that had good accuracy

During our competition time, I managed to score 12 points

blog challenge

For week 10 I have done a birthday card for the blog challenge. The hardest thing was drawing a happy birthday. The easiest thing was drawing the koala.

Tennis tower challenge

Today I worked with Regan and Shawn. At first, we had trouble with the bottom base because the legs were to thin. The easiest thing was getting the sellotape ready. The best part of our tower was straws. Our tower looked pretty good. In the end, our tower fell over when it was the real deal.
