We found out that the thief is Mrs Taaffe because there was more evidence from her than all the other teachers. Her feet matched the prints, she had a cut on her hand, she was here on the day, she used the dongle because she had chrome casting issues so she came to Whetu and stole the dongle and her fingerprints are on everything in the scene. Mrs Taaffe was confronted on the 23rd of November 2020. She admitted that she stole the milky way bars and the dongle. Some of us were stoked because she seemed pretty suspicious when she came into Whetu. I felt great that we solved the case now.

Maori Slang
For our Te Reo Maori challenge, we had to do a google drawing, doc or google slide. I chose a google drawing because it would be easier to draw and make the whole page wider. For my word, I chose Kia Kaha which means be strong. The hardest part was drawing the Tane and Wahine's body. The easiest part would probably be the Maori coloured koru art on the top. I liked learning what Kia Kaha means even though I know what Kia Kaha means, it's still good to re-learn things. I didn't know how to put a video on my drawing so I'll put it in separately.

But besides that it was exciting.

Rad Rhythm
We are learning how to find the beat and the rhythm. The beat is the steady pulse that you feel in the tune, like a clock's tick. It's the beat you'd naturally clap along to, or tap your foot to The rhythm is the actual sound or time value of the notes, which in a song would also be the as the words. I enjoyed having fun with my mates and producing sounds. A challenge for me was keeping in time when others because we're all ways changing beats.

Cooking
This week I joined the cooking group.
On the first day, we did our safety stuff to mind when we are in the kitchen. On the second day, we brang veges to cut up for soup. On the third day, we ate the soup and I would give it 9.5. The part that I liked the most was cutting up our veges. I brang an onion because it was the only thing that I had in my head when we were thinking of veges to bring.

For our investigation this week, we did a transformation which is translations, reflection and rotation. On my whole Maths Mahi, I fell back a little bit cause I needed to do some other work done. Option Workshops Reflect
During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops. The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been Dancing with Ms Frazer because I like music and it was nice to learn something new.
The new learning that I have learnt is being in science because of the experiments from the past terms. What I have most enjoyed about the workshops are doing art with Ms M because she is a really good artist and would really learn from her5 again. I am interested in learning more about music because my dream is to be a famous DJ one day.

Inquiry Presentation
For my inquiry presentation, I drew a poster for a question 'Should Animals live in Zoos'. Before we had to do our poster, we had to get some pros and some cons. My opinion for 'should animals be kept in Zoos' is yes and no because there are some bad things about Zoos and some good things about Zoos. Zoos help people with education and learning.

This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain. I ran in the 10yr old group. I am most proud of how much I pushed myself more in cross country training. I think my effort towards our training at school was like probably an average state. I have came 2nd to last at cross country. I know its not the best but I did my best and hopefully next time I can do better.

Term 2 Reflection
My Term 2, 2020 Reflection
The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is doing Number of the day because I liked pushing myself and trying to learn new things.
Something that has challenged me this term has been doing studyladder because I had to finish the rest of my must do’s before I jump on studyladder.
The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was making the tennis tower because I could talk to my mates about what our plan is.
The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was dancing with Mrs Fraser because one, dancing is my favourite hobby and two is learning something new.
An aim I have for my learning is trying not to talk to my friends too much. Term 2 was a little bit fast because of lockdown.

Before we started I thought this challenge was going to be really easy
I decided to use the design because it was the only hope I had of getting a score
The hardest part was trying to make a plane that had good accuracy
During our competition time, I managed to score 12 points
